Hi, it’s Vera. I’ve been making garments since 2019.
After I started creating patterns for clients, I realised I was spending an enormous amount of time rechecking every detail and making sample after sample to ensure the patterns were right. It was time-consuming, and I found myself constantly overworking.
Until I discovered 3D.
Using 3D technology, I was able to check my patterns directly on a virtual avatar. It completely transformed my process and saved a lot of time and unnecessary work.
I started adding pictures and videos of 3D fittings together with my patterns, included 3D renders in tech packs, and created 3D garments rather than flat sketches while designing collections.
And now, here I am - ready to give you a hand with your designs.

3D FITTING - 3 THINGS WE NEED
- MaterialsIf you already know the materials for your garment, I’ll check key fabric properties like stretch, thickness, and drape. If you don’t have the materials yet - don't worry, we will use similar fabric during the 3D fitting.
- Body MeasurementsSince each garment is made for a specific size, I’ll need the main body measurements - usually just bust, waist, and hips are enough.
- PatternsWe will definitely need patterns! Paper patterns need to be digitised or scanned first. Digital patterns can be uploaded into the software right away, and then we’re ready to start building the garment.
